State of the City Presenting Sponsor

Join us for the 39th annual State of the City Address. This will be a hybrid virtual event with live and recorded presentations. Mayor Dan Pope and his staff will produce an informative presentation for the citizens of our great city. Join us as we look back at 2020 and make plans for the future as we grow our communities, businesses, and city. 

This will be a free virtual event. You can register by clicking the button below. We encourage you to create a watch party with your friends and colleagues. Order lunch and support our local restaurants for yourself or your office—what a great way to learn about our city's future and appreciate your employees simultaneously.

Each year, the Mayor picks a local charity to benefit from this event.  You can make personal donations as well during the registration process. You can type in any amount, and the donations will go to the chosen organization. Over the past 38 State of the City addresses, the Lubbock Apartment Association has donated over $250,000 to many charities throughout the City of Lubbock in the mayor's name.  We hope that you will support this beneficial tradition by making a donation when you register.  The mayor will announce his choice in the weeks to come.
