LAA Community Service: High Point Village Work & Play Day

High Point Village creates a community where individuals with intellectual disabilities—called "villagers"—can live, learn, work, and reach their full potential. They run day programs, summer camps, and enrichment classes that focus on building life skills, social connections, and independence in a faith-based environment.

Here's where we come in.

The Work (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
We'll tackle maintenance projects that keep this place running—filling garden beds with dirt, cleaning outdoor grills, fixing a garbage disposal, organizing the kitchen, and placing rocks where water collects. Bring your tools.

The Break (12:00 PM)
Triple G Renovations is providing lunch.

The Play (12:00 - 3:00 PM)
Kickball, art projects, and a dance contest with the villagers. High Point staff will coordinate activities.

Sign-Up Options

• Morning shift: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Afternoon shift: 12:00 - 3:00 PM
• Full day: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

This is hands-on community service that matters. We fix things that need fixing, then spend the afternoon building relationships with people who deserve our time and attention.
