This is the official Texas Apartment Association Lease Contract Guaranty Form (Form 16-U, Revised July 2016). This form is required when a third party (such as a parent, employer, or another individual) agrees to guarantee the financial responsibilities of a resident who signs a TAA lease. The guarantor becomes legally responsible for unpaid rent, fees, damages, and other lease obligations if the resident fails to meet their responsibilities.
