LAA Refund/Cancellation Policy
When you cancel an event/class
Cancellation must be received in writing 72 hours before the event/class date to receive a full refund or not be billed. Substitutions are welcomed. No-shows and late cancellations will be billed at full price. Email any cancellations/substitutions to laa@lbkapts.com.
Credential Course Cancellation Policy (CAPS, CAM, NALP, CAMT, CAS, CPO, etc.)
Cancellations must be received in writing 14 days before the course date to receive a full refund or not be billed. Cancellations received within the 14-day grace period will incur a non-refundable, non-transferrable $125 fee. Substitutions are welcomed. No-shows and late cancellations will be billed the full price. Email any cancellations/substitutions to laa@lbkapts.com.
When an event/class is postponed or canceled
LAA will always endeavor to produce events/classes on the dates they were originally scheduled. In the event circumstances cause an event/class to be postponed, the cancellation policies mentioned above will remain in effect. Substitutions are welcomed. No-shows and late cancellations will be billed at full price. Email any cancellations/substitutions to laa@lbkapts.com.
In rare circumstances, it may be necessary to cancel an event/class. Should this happen, all paid registrations will be refunded or credited to the member’s account. Any unbilled or unpaid registrations will be voided/deleted/not billed. The decision to cancel an event/class is not taken lightly and will be the decision of the Executive Officer/Board of Directors/Committee responsible for the event/class. A change does not entitle registrants to rights of direct or consequential damages resulting from the cancellation or postponement.
